History
z0rbot is orignally a project created to collect player statistics and server information of games and to show this collected information to users.The initial project was written in JDK 1.4 and consisted of three programs. Two of these programs were later combined to one program.
- 1a. Server which collects player and server information from all game servers shown on the server page.
- 1b. Server that provides the z0rbots (IRC clients) the player and server statistics and takes care of the fast responses of users on the IRC network.
- 2 . Client that connects to our z0r server and to an IRC server. In the channels that it'll join it can provide users with various information about the servers listed here.
Currently
z0rbot has been totally rewritten and as of version 4.0 statistics are not integrated anymore. Z0rbot is available on all IRC networks and for all games available. The idea of z0rbot is that people can search their friends that are playing on servers and to be able to find matches against clans that you have never heard of before!
